Technology represents the "real world" application of science and mathematics. Technology advances with new discoveries in science, which in turn enhances the ability of scientists to conduct experiments and engineers to produce new technology for consumers and industry. Technology Education is the study of the content and connections which create the interdependence of these disciplines, along with their relationship to human society and our environment.  Technology Education provides the knowledge and skills needed to understand and effectively meet the challenges we will face in the future.
